The untrusting Fowler brings a fellow agent who frisks Neal in case of a wire. He suspects Neal might be casing a certain area and thinks he’s after the music box. The next morning, Peter is at home with his wife, Elizabeth, looking over Neal’s tracking data. Neal calls Fowler’s office and leaves a cryptic message for a meeting. He wants the music box, so he’ll need to help Neal where he can to make it possible. Mozzie points out Peter is not going to be releasing him from his anklet any time soon. As Neal discusses these details with Mozzie, they establish they can’t possibly do it without her. She says the music box is in the Italian Consulate, in a private safe. The story arc itself also contains some nice twists, and provides for some very rewarding watching.Neal and Alex try to get their hands on the music box while Peter seeks his help to get finally rid of Fowler.Īlex and Neal meet in a swimming pool for a cheeky late night dip. It's an interesting combination, and has the possibility to go far. Tim DeKay also feels like the career FBI agent, who will do anything to get his man. Matt Bomer plays the part with style, eloquence, and intelligence, feeling every inch the master forger and thief. Although the buddy opposites formula has been used before (several times, let's face it), the characters on show here are very interesting, with Neil occasionally stooping to less than legal solutions to problems, while it is believable that although Peter likes and respects him, he'd lock Caffrey up given half a chance.
